HOST Member Spotlight: ioLIVE

ioLIVE’s mission is to deliver an innovative live streaming video production platform that is both user friendly and cost effective, making high quality production accessible to everyone.

The live streaming platform enables users with little to no technical experience to achieve higher production quality for various events, from football matches to school concerts. The company has been based at HOST Salford in MediaCity for three and a half years, where it has grown, collaborated, and met clients and partners in a professional environment.

ioLIVE has been working with various clients, including educational institutions like UCFB and boarding schools, to provide high-quality live streaming for events. The platform allows users to upload assets like logos and event details beforehand, streamlining the process.

"We’ve put the ability to stream into the hands of the teachers, and they’ve been able to use it with ease. This has been especially important for boarding schools, where parents don’t always get to see what’s happening in their children’s day-to-day lives. Now, they can watch live streams and feel more involved in the experience.”

With their CEO in California, Chief Science Officer in Chicago, and development team based in Sheffield, ioLIVE has been able to seamlessly coordinate and grow their business across different locations. Although the team is spread across continents, they continue to call HOST their home.
