HOST Gametech is Greater Manchester’s only purpose-built campus for all things esports, learning and live broadcast. We are the driving force for careers in gaming within Greater Manchester, empowering the community forward with us.
With dedicated space for tournaments, training, education, broadcasting and live streaming, the HOST Gametech campus offers a unique support network all under one roof.

Our campus is the start of building core esports functionality and helping create Greater Manchester as the centre of esports excellence within the UK.
Our campus offers opportunities to host:
Esports & casual tournaments
Our state-of-the-art MediaCity Arena is the perfect venue for tournaments, competitions and largescale presentations. With tiered seating for over 70 attendees and 10 tournament ready PCs, we provide the perfect platform to showcase yourselves.
Training & support
With our purpose-built arena space and training complex, professional teams utilise our facilities for meetings, sponsored activities and training. These services are also available for grassroots teams as a launch pad for their future careers. A unique opportunity to train in the same space as professionals, using the same equipment.
Career starts
Over two years, the most diverse learners will be supported via our Skills City Digital Skills Bootcamps, into career starts in HOST Gametech and esports. These digital skills bootcamps focus on the widest career opportunities including virtual production, broadcasting/streaming, game-design/development and more.
Teaching programmes
Our educational partners around the northwest have the unique opportunity to use our space for a wide range of teaching and development, including university lectures, gametech concept testing and esports education events.
Industry engagement
Local gaming companies are invited to utilise our education space and Skills City’s digital skills bootcamps in a bid to address the ongoing skills shortage. This is the perfect platform for industry partners to get true insights into market trends and demands, as our footfall provides an insight into what customers truly want.
HOST experience days
A team social like no other. Enter MediaCity’s pioneering Virtual Reality (VR) lab as colleagues, and leave as stronger team members. Choose from a selection of games and play or watch as a group for up to a few hours. Post gameplay, enjoy a few drinks and nibbles at our private bar before heading into our luxury cinema room.
