HOST partners with FSB to offer exclusive access to business support and networking
Innovation hub HOST, the Home of Skills & Technology at MediaCityUK has announced a new partnership with The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).
The new collaboration between the two organisations affords FSB members from Greater Manchester exclusive access to HOST Social’s events, conference and business lounge on its seventh floor, which offers stunning views overlooking the historic Manchester Ship Canal and Salford Quays.
HOST will be the venue for FSB held quarterly networking events, training seminars, and a series of business improvement workshops, with HOST-based businesses receiving the discounted FSB member price for paid-for events.
Chris Manka, FSB North West Regional Chair, said: “This is an exciting development for FSB members in Greater Manchester, who now have access to a state-of-the-art tech hub and incubation services in the heart of our city region. We are really looking forward to working with the HOST management team and the partner businesses based there through the autumn and on into 2022.”
He added: “HOST has a range of fantastic business facilities at its disposal at Media City, and already has a significant business community based there, working alongside each other as they seek to develop and grow their businesses.
“Incubators are a hotbed of learning and knowledge sharing between entrepreneurs, typically in the first few years of business ownership. I’d encourage all our members to take advantage of this unique opportunity at HOST and come and see what’s on offer and how it can help their businesses.”
Mo Isap, CEO of IN4 Group, operator of HOST, said: “We are delighted to welcome FSB and their Greater Manchester members to join the innovation community at HOST, where they will have exclusive access to our network, events and facilities. We offer a unique entrepreneur-led approach, and we want to make sure businesses across the region have access to the latest in innovative technology to help them thrive and grow, while also ensuring that innovation is inclusive for all.
In celebration of this new partnership, FSB Greater Manchester and HOST will be holding an informal networking event with drinks and canapes at HOST Social on Wednesday 13 October, 5-7pm. To register, visit here.
